About me:
My name is Yara, and I am the founder and CEO of Growing Minds ABA Therapy. My journey in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) began in 2014 when I worked as a one-on-one behavior therapist. However, my passion for working with children started much earlier. I gained valuable experience as a team member in an after-school program in 2006 and later as a swim instructor in 2008. These roles fostered my love for supporting children and laid the foundation for over a decade of hands-on experience.
Inspired by my work as a behavior therapist, I pursued a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2018. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with children and adults in various settings, including homes, group homes, schools, and community environments.
In addition to my work in ABA, I expanded my expertise beyond the autism field by starting a health coaching business. This venture allows me to merge my passion for health and nutrition with the science of behavior, showcasing the versatility of ABA principles.
I am deeply committed to helping others and continuously strive to enhance my skills. Building strong relationships with my clients and mentees is a cornerstone of my approach, and I prioritize communication, collaboration, and teamwork in every aspect of my work.
As a professional, I am passionate about growth and innovation. I am excited to continue learning and evolving to provide the best possible support to those I work with, while applying creativity and care to every interaction.
